The Nature Conservancy of Wyoming invites you to join Sheridan area neighbors and partners to celebrate our shared commitment to preserving Wyoming's natural beauty, wildlife, ecological integrity and working lands.

Event Highlights:

  • Gather with friends and neighbors at the WYO Theatre in downtown Sheridan to enjoy delicious appetizers and drinks and unbeatable community fellowship. Free and open to all.

  • Hear from Hayley Mortimer, Wyoming State Director, about the inspiring ways TNC supporters, board members, staff and partners are helping nature and people thrive—now and in the future.

The Journey:

The Nature Conservancy’s Wyoming chapter was created in 1989. It began with a small group of tenacious trustees and staff with a vision to protect as much wild and working land as possible.

Today, the chapter has grown into a robust and inspired team working across Wyoming and collaborating with partners throughout the United States and around the world. The Nature Conservancy works in 81 countries and territories: 40 by direct conservation and 41 through collaboration.

Thanks to Wyoming supporters like you, TNC has protected over one million acres of land and restored 1,500 river miles in the state. Partnerships with private landowners, local businesses, public land managers and industry leaders have been crucial in safeguarding wildlife, wildlands and the livelihoods of Wyomingites.

For more than 70 years, TNC donors have made a lasting and measurable difference for nature and people. Today, TNC includes more than a million members, the dedicated efforts of more than 5,000 staff (including 900+ scientists) and countless local partners, caring communities and decision-makers all over the world.

See you there?
  • Meet fellow conservation enthusiasts and community members who share your passion for protecting wild and working lands and waters.
