Founded in 1975, The Nature Conservancy is celebrating 50 years of conservation accomplishments in the Bluegrass State. We have reached this milestone in large part thanks to dedicated and loyal supporters like you who have invested in our work and our mission. Together, we have achieved so much, including protecting more than 155,000 acres of land, reconnecting 200 miles of a free-flowing Green River and restoring nearly 20,000 acres of floodplain wetlands. Threats to our natural world have never been greater, and we remain committed to expanding our reach and impact. From the ancient Appalachian Mountains to the mighty Mississippi, we are delivering results that matter locally and support The Nature Conservancy’s larger goals to secure a healthy, vibrant world for people and nature.
