National parks, forests, wildlife refuges and other public lands in the United States are national treasures, and the backbone of conservation and the outdoor recreation economy. Any large-scale sell-off of these critical landscapes would be devastating and impact future generations.

But now, a new proposal in the Senate would pave the way for the federal government to eliminate or sell our national parks to the highest bidder, opening the door to development.

Send your message to Congress now and tell your Senators that you oppose selling off federally owned public conservation lands for non-conservation uses. Speak up to keep these public lands in public hands.

Your U.S. Senators

I urge you to vote "no" on Lee Amendment #3972 to oppose any proposals that would make it easier to eliminate or sell off America's national parks and other public lands that are critical to conservation.

These protected lands and waters are fundamental to Americans' health and well-being and help keep our air and water clean. They are also critical drivers of local economies and the $1 trillion national outdoor recreation industry. 79% of people agree that, "One of the things our government does best is to protect and preserve our national history and natural beauty through national parks, forests and other public lands."

Congress must continue to ensure that public lands stay in public hands.
