Experience a rare opportunity for exclusive access to one of TNC’s coastal preserves . Part of a protected landscape spanning over one million acres, this critical wildlife area supports a rich diversity of native and migratory birds. It’s a haven for seabirds and shorebirds, providing nesting habitat in the warmer months and overwintering ground in the colder season. With binoculars in hand, enjoy this tranquil preserve with conservation experts from TNC and Audubon. During our outing, we’ll also participate in a hands-on beach cleanup to help keep the shoreline thriving.
Activity: Shorebird watching, 1.5- to 3-mile coastal walk, beach cleanup
Meeting Location: 1648 Alligator Dr, Panacea, FL 32346
We will gather about a half mile from the preserve entrance and shuttle to the preserve gate.
Additional Information: Exact times will be confirmed in trip details shared approximately one month prior. In the event of severe weather, we will try to schedule an alternate date.
To allow more members the opportunity to participate, please limit your registration in this series to two in-person field trips per person.
