Please join us for a photo scavenger hunt at Pratt Preserve (Ebey's Landing). The day will entail a hike with frequent stops to take photos by the lake and of the viewpoints. Participants will be given a list of photo prompts to get your creativity flowing and will use it find photo opportunities that fit that prompt. There are no specific camera requirements. A phone camera is perfectly acceptable for this event.
This is a Nature Engagement Leader event! Nature Engagement Leaders are volunteers trained to lead events on behalf of The Nature Conservancy. Your Nature Engagement Leader for this event is Camile!
Need to know information:

In total, this is about a 3.5-mile loop hike with 260 feet of elevation gain. This trail is considered easy-moderate in difficulty. This trail includes short sections of steep downhill that may be more challenging for some users.

There is a pit toilet at the trailhead. There are no other bathrooms along the hike.

This trail has minimal shade coverage and is exposed to sun and wind.

The trail is a mixture of sandy, compacted dirt, steps, with steep and/or narrow trails at times. Hiking poles are recommended for those who may have trouble with steep downhill sections.

Dogs are allowed on this preserve but for the purposes of this event, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home. Service dogs are always allowed.
