Event Details
TNC welcomes you to join us for a nature walk and journaling session at Foulweather Bluff Preserve. We will hike approximately 1.5 miles out and back on trail and beach. Bring snacks, a journal, and some writing utensils, as well as something comfortable to sit on. We will stop at the beach to free write, share and discuss, eat lunch and then head back up to the trailhead.

Participants should plan to bring their own lunch, snacks, and blanket or towel for sitting.
This is a Nature Engagement Leader event! Nature Engagement Leaders are volunteers trained to lead events on behalf of The Nature Conservancy. Your Nature Engagement Leader for this event is Camille!
Need to know information:

In total, this event requires hiking about 1.5 miles roundtrip. This trail is flat on compacted soil with occasional obstacles such as exposed roots and a couple of logs to step over. Once on the beach, the terrain switches to flat and sandy surface with occasional obstacles such as driftwood and rocks.

This event is open to youth 13+ accompanied by an adult

There is a porta-potty at the trailhead. There are no other bathrooms along the hike.

This trail is mostly shaded while walking through the forest. Once on the beach, there is minimal shade coverage and is exposed to sun and wind.

No dogs are allowed at Foulweather Bluff Preserve. Service dogs are always allowed.

This event is not ADA accessible.

For most, this preserve requires taking a ferry. Participants are responsible for coordinating their own transportation.
