Event Details

Volunteers will help spread native seed into ecological burn units to restore and enhance critical habitat for Fender’s blue butterfly. During the event, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the endangered Fender’s blue butterfly and TNC’s efforts to conserve the species at Willow Creek and elsewhere. Seeds will be broadcast by hand. This project will include walking up to a mile and a half along burn plots.
