TNC mourns the loss of our beloved friend and colleague, Dawit Zeleke. A passionate conservationist and farmer, Dawit leveraged his experience in agriculture and habitat management to lead important restoration initiatives throughout his 30-year career with TNC.

In honor of his enduring contributions to people and nature in California, we have established the Dawit Zeleke Memorial Fund. Your gift to the fund will support independent projects at the intersection of conservation and agriculture—projects for which Dawit had a passion.
